Ok well I am on leave from this past Thursday until next Tuesday. So I was trying to get myself to BVU so I can get my CrossFit in during my time off. After the first day it wasn’t going to be easy. We only have one vehicle and Mark is using it to goto work.

So I am home all day taking care of the house wihtout a way to get to a gym to workout. So I thought about the one exercise I can do that works my full body and I don’t need any equipment for.

I decided that I will do 100 burpees everyday for my WOD while I am on vacation. The cats think I am crazy but to me it’s a good exercise. I start my timer just like for any WOD and stop it once I hit 100.

After two days of these I wish I had picked a lower number. lol

Well today I did my first WOD as Rx’d. It was the Row, Burpees, Run. I finished every last action and I was dead after. I feel great now, I wasn’t going for time really. I mean I wanted to be done in under 1 hour but I was more concerned with not passing out or vomitting.

My time at the end was 39:29. I am happy with that time really. It is less then 1 hour and I was able to complete each round to the best of my abilities. FYI I hate burpees. So now I have too post my info on BTWB..

Weel I only have one more night of midshift. I am really happy about that. This round of mids hasn’t been too bad, I have been working out pretty regularly and focusing on what I put in my body. It has paid off, my energy levels have been good and my overall mental health has been better.

Mark came back from a couple day TDY yesterday. He had to go help someone rebuild a section of their store. I am glad he is able to go TDY and see places he has never seen before. He is also in his Management class for his job. I am glad he is enjoying the class.

We are going to be moving back to Bellevue in May. I am so excited for this since our friends are in that city and it won’t take us half an hour to drive to the local Wal-Mart. We will be moving into base housing, it may only be for a few years with with cheaper rent and utilities included you can’t beat it.

I found a Stargate fan among my new CrossFit family. He also has a blog but I haven’t asked him if he wants to be added to my blogroll yet. Maybe I’ll send him a PM on the forums and ask.
