Kyle and Mark

Well we are back from our vacation. It was nice and unexpected to have my family send us money for gas to drive down and visit. I am glad they did as I got to see my sister for the first time after the surgery. I have to be honest and say I didn’t recognize her at first.

I uploaded the photos from our trip to the gallery and have a few of my sister under Family and Friends. I still have a few more to upload but for now this is a good start. I don’t have to be back at work until the 3rd and having this time off to take care of the house is good. So TTYL.

Well we left on Sunday at 2:30am, we had planned on driving straight through in one day but that idea didn’t last long. We made it about 30 minutes from St. Louis and had to get some sleep. But that is what happens when you work a full shift and then decide to head out for a 18 hour road trip.

So we slept at a pretty rinky-dink hotel until about 6pm. We got up, grabbed some grub and got on the road. We drove all through the night and made it to Pensacola at 7am on Monday. So it wasn’t a bad drive since the sun was down we had the windows down most of the way.

Since we have been here it’s been a pretty active vacation as far as not really alot of dead time. We did goto the beach on Monday after noon and didn’t get a chance to swim since Hurricane Dolly was making her way across the Gulf of Mexico. So this morning we are going to head back out to the beach and be real tourists. Until my next post TTYL.
