Kyle and Mark

Well after a three day weekend, I am feeling much better. I had not been getting productive sleep for about a week and a half. I was sleeping but I wasn’t dreaming. So when I woke up I was just as tired as when I went to sleep. I figure I got about 5 hours of good sleep last week.

Anyway, Mark and I went looking at hot tubs. We found one we really like called Lotus Bay (1st pic below), but I found another that is cheaper and has similar specs. It is called Coberland by Caldera Spas (2nd pic below). I totaly love this layout (3rd pic below), if we do finally spend the big bucks on a hot tub I want this to be the layout around it.

We still have some big bills to pay before we can jump head long into making the house a home. I hope that before the end of the year we will only have all of our bills under control. We are getting there and having a local bank has really helped.

We are going to see Mark’s family at the end of the month. I know he misses them alot even though he doesn’t really show it. I think, him having some family time with them will be good for them all.

Well it’s been a few days. Still no word from my web host. My ftp site isn’t working so I can only do things at home now. What a drag. I am thinking about just deleting the ftp directory but i’ll wat until it has been a week since this all started.

I just got done watching Eargon, I give it a 8. It has great effects and imagery. It’s based off of a trilogy, guess I’m going to see if Tina can mail me the books or maybe I’ll just get off my lazy ass an by them.

Tomorrow Mark is going to a birthday party for his friend Chris in Des Moines. I’m trying not to be worried about it, we are suppose to get severe thunderstorms tomorrow. I just hope he comes home before I goto work. But the way I’m feeling right now I might just stay home tomorrow anyway.

I gotta check my temperature when I get home. I’ve been sweating my ass off all night and I’ve “vurped” a few times. Oh, by the time I get home tomorrow it’ll be like 10.30am. I have a chiropractor appointment at 9.30 but I see Scott, my massage therapist, before then for half an hour.

Well I got off the phone with 1&1. I have a two new problems, I can not access my web space via FTP and my web space quota is showing nothing uploaded to my space. The tech rep tried to access it and it let him in. He tried it a second time and it would not let him in. He tried to reset my web space, whatever that means. No luck. Then he told me he was going to run the “web site fix”, the one the guy last night tried to run it. Yeah, if it didn’t work the first time it’ll work the second time for sure. The tech rep said it’ll be 1 hour at most and everything will be back to normal.

It been just shy of 2 hours now since I got off the phone with them. Still not able to get in via FTP, but my wowmages.org site and this on are still functioning. WTF mates? How about having my technical support people working in the US and not India? Why is it they keep saying they will open tickets and I’ll get a response. I just got a e-mail from them tonight for when I updated my e-mail address last night.

If I could switch hosts I would in a heart beat. Why in their right minds did they even think a configuration change on a Unix box was a good idea? IF IT ISN’T BROKE DON’T MESS WITH IT!!!!!
